A day on the town in Lowell.

 Beautiful architecture.

Repurposed to City Hall. I could see breathtaking townhouses, and city business happening in a different building. But I guess they think highly of themselves.

Bezos fucked me over. I had a delivery to an Amazon locker, where if I didn't pick it up "by Monday" it would be returned. I thought that was gonna mean thru Monday. I wasn't sure. If a school teacher said "by Monday" I'd assume later in the day on Monday might be too late. I just thought Amazon would lean the other way.

I had to be gone for a while because I requested room cleaning, and was planning to walk to the locker in Lowell. Unsure what to do instead I just walked to Lowell regardless.

I got a falafel gyro from the Riverside Food Trailer Egyptian Grill and it was wonderful.

He told me "kid, eating this gyro is the best decision you'll make this year". (Really he told me something like "you're gonna love it" and I knew it was true.)

I figured I'd love it but that it would fall short of Falafel King in Boston. Which is like decisively better than all other falafel wraps. But I think it beats it. Right now it's a draw because I've had Falafel King so often where it really isn't a fair comparison.

As a standalone experience this literally might be the best lunch I've ever had. But King is so entrenched that you can't knock him off in one swoop. Have to at least prove they can repeat it and that it wasn't just the wonder of a first time.

I scouted the area a bit and realized I could probably eat it at the Pulichino Tong Business Center, which I guess is on the UMass Lowell campus.

Amazingly, I ate it underneath an overhead stock ticker.

Kind of a needle to show me Qualcomm since I'm trying to sell it.

I wasn't completely sure it was okay to eat at the tables, but seemed fine to try and see if they nicely inform me that I can't. Was able to eat in peace, and use their WiFi as a guest too. Very grand of them.

Then I moved over to the library which was basically the same building, and established myself in the armchair section.

I didn't love that I was sitting in a way where whatever I'm looking at is theoretically visible to people behind me. Kind of thing that gets you killed as a caveman.

But c'est la vie, it was enough time and I could start heading home to the clean room.
